Coretet was founded in September 2015, to commission new chamber music for young musicians. After hearing from several musicians how meaningful it is to be able to interact with a living composer, the importance of making new music available became a priority.  Not only do many musicians benefit from interacting with a composer on a current piece of music but many feel it gives them new insights to the old classics.  The level of talent in young musicians and composers of today is at a higher level and their music should be heard.
